Two different backgrounds. One shared approach.

Jason and Bonnie came to real estate with very different professional backgrounds. Jason is a retired Army veteran who spent 20 years on active duty as an Army musician, while also building his real estate career for 14 of those years. Bonnie studied interior design and spent twelve years working in the field, primarily in commercial office space.

As Jason’s real estate business grew, they reached a point where it felt like they were managing three full-time jobs between the two of them: Jason’s Army career, Jason’s real estate business, and Bonnie’s design career.

That was when Bonnie took a leap of faith. She earned her real estate license, stepped away from her design career, and joined Jason in the business — the beginning of The Jason and Bonnie Team.

As it turns out, their different backgrounds also shaped the way each of them approaches real estate — and that is one of the reasons they work so well together. Jason spends more of his time with sellers and genuinely enjoys the strategy behind a sale: sequencing the process, studying the market, digging deep into pricing, and helping homeowners decide where it makes sense to spend money before listing — and just as importantly, where it does not.

He compares dozens of reference points so he can show a client how he arrived at a recommendation rather than simply tell them what he thinks. But for all of that research, Jason still relies heavily on Bonnie’s eye for detail, her instinct for color and presentation, and her natural feel for how a home fits within what buyers are responding to in the market.

Bonnie, meanwhile, spends much of her time with buyers. She looks at a home search as more than a hunt for bedrooms, bathrooms, and square footage. Location, neighborhood, family needs, daily routines, and the lifestyle a buyer wants to create all matter because buying a home is ultimately a much bigger life decision.

Her interior design background also gives her a strong eye for design, color, space, and how a home functions. She helps buyers look beyond the surface, understand how a home might work for them, and recognize potential that may not be obvious at first glance. And while Bonnie may be the one walking through homes with buyers, her role does not stop there. She has a strong sense of value and helps buyers think through what a home is worth to them, how it compares to what they have seen, and where an offer should land. Jason then helps fine-tune the strategy and negotiation approach when it is time to put the offer together. The running joke is that between the two of them, they make one really good real estate agent.

In practice, it means every client gets both perspectives. Jason and Bonnie challenge each other when needed and bring their different strengths to the table whether you are buying, selling, or doing both.

A business built for the long term

Our business is built around relationships—not one-time transactions.

We stay connected through client appreciation events, homeowner education, periodic check-ins, trusted vendor recommendations, community involvement, and a nationwide network of experienced real estate professionals. That means we remain a resource long after the keys have changed hands.

Our Approach

We believe education and guidance are more important than persuasion when you are making a life-changing decision such as buying or selling a home. Good real estate guidance should help you:

Education and guidance over persuasion

Understand your options clearly
Prepare before decisions become urgent
Make informed choices without unnecessary pressure
Understand the risks and trade-offs involved
Know what happens next
Feel supported before, during, and after the transaction

Clarity. Preparation. Follow-through.

Those three ideas shape the way we work.

Your goals are personal. Our job is to help you understand the process, weigh your options, and build a realistic strategy for moving forward.
